MANILA, Philippines – Ateneo de Manila University middle hitter Maddie Madayag has suffered a knee injury in practice, team manager Tony Boy Liao confirmed to ABS-CBN Sports.
The extent of the injury has yet to be determined though the team fears that Madayag may have torn her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her right knee.
Titingnan siya this morning,” Liao told Mark Escarlote of ABS-CBN Sports.
Madayag has been one of the key cogs for the Lady Eagles this season, and one of the league’s leading servers.
