Bloombery out, Security Bank added to PSE Index

MANILA – Bloombery Resorts Corp. will be removed from the 30-company Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) starting Sept. 12 and will be replaced by Security Bank, the bourse said Wednesday.

Shares of the Solaire casino operator fell 13.53 percent to P5.37 and weighed on the main index, which closed 0.87 percent lower to 7,866.13.

Security Bank shares closed 2.44 percent higher to P218.40.

The 30 companies that make up the PSEi are required to have at least 12-percent free float, must be among the top 25 percent of listed companies based on daily value per month for at least nine out of 12 months, and must be among the top 30 based on full market capitalization.
