“Unfortunate events has cancelled my trip to the Philippines,” James tweeted Thursday morning. “Always have enjoyed my trip there.”
“Hopefully, I can come back soon,” he added.
James first visited Manila in 2013 shortly after winning his first NBA title with the Miami Heat, and returned in 2015 for a Nike RISE event.
His cancelled visit to Manila would have been his first since winning an NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
