“I feel like I don’t deserve to talk about being a hot mom,” ayon kay Laurel.

“I was always into soccer, boxing, mixed martial arts and just weights. I have a good trainer. And just cycling. Anything that I feel like I won’t get bored doing. I do anything intense kasi if it’s laid back, medyo tatamarin yata ako,” tip ni Laurel para sa ibang mga nanay.

“It’s a constant battle. If I had it my way, I’d be working out every day to be at the best physical form I can be. I always think, ‘Oh my god. For my height and body weight, I’m overweight,’” aniya.

“Beauty is really inside. It’s how kind you are. How generous you are. How big of a heart you have. It’s not looks. Nowadays, I think people should be open-minded to having stretch marks. I have stretch marks too, being chubby. We have to embrace ourselves. Siguro, way back I wouldn’t be able to say na I am confident with who I am. Now, I am. I am confident. I am okay with having stretch marks,” aniya noong press conference ng kanyang librong ‘True Beauty’.

“What makes a woman hot is not the way they look. It’s their outlook, the way they carry themselves and the way they feel about themselves. I feel like moms out there feel so much pressure to look a certain way but I want moms out there to know that there’s no other you in the world. There’s nobody that looks like you, smells like you, dresses like you, laughs like you, loves like you. If you know that and if you treasure that, parang it makes so much of a difference. Doesn’t matter what shape or form you are. Clothes, fashion comes and go. Shape, uso ngayon curvy. Dati uso payat so eventually, mauuso din ‘yung look niyo. But own it. Love who you are,” payo ni Laurel.
