She may no longer be portraying Darna, but Angel Locsin proved that you don’t need a costume to help out those in need.
The “La Luna Sangre” star handed out food packs and school supplies to those affected by the Marawi clash. Together with charity group Rural Missionaries of the Philippines, Locsin visited on Friday a temporary refuge camp that houses 283 individuals.
Locsin, who expressed hope that the bloody war between government troops and Islamist rebels would soon end, was expected to visit another evacuation center on Saturday. She aims to personally distribute 300 more relief packs she donated for the victims.
